Tim Duncan was the first overall pick of the 1997 NBA draft. No doubt that Tim Duncan is one of the greatest basketball players of all time, with him being a 5 Time NBA Champion and a three-time finals MVP, and 1-time league MVP. Hearing all of these achievements you would say he should be considered one of the greatest of all time and even though he just retired in 2016 it already feels like he has been forgotten for some reason and it is bizarre because on any day he could give you 30 points like it was nothing. Maybe it is because he was a team-first type of player.

The reason why he got the name Mr.Fundamental was not because of his flashy or was selfish he played the game like people say it was supposed to be played in the concept of getting everyone involved if that means that you will win. he was willing to do whatever it took to win. There is no doubt that he is an all-time great and a winner and deserves to be talked about more when it comes to that conversation.
